One day I was sitting on the Math with Babaji when a large group of foreigners came. They asked Babaji many questions and I translated them to Babaji and translated his answers back to them. The questions were mostly good ones and Babaji very clearly answered them for a long time. Then suddenly he turned to me and said, “These people think Babaji is an answering machine. If they had listened to Babaji’s answers and truly taken any one of them up in their lives there would be no need to ask any more questions.”

Babaji’s answer taught me then that each priceless answer of his and each teaching of the scriptures was for practising and not just for idle accumulation of knowledge.
